Faith No More will release first studio album in 18 years

After 18 years, Faith No More will finally release the follow-up to "Album Of The Year". The band, which ended its activities in 1998, returned to the stage in 2009, but only now they decided to return to the studio and start recording new songs.

According to bassist Billy Gold, speaking to the American edition of Rolling Stone, the plan is to release the album in April next year, and a United States tour will follow.

Before that, fans can get a taste of what's to come. The album's first single, "Motherf***er", will be released on November. The compact, vinyl 7 inch, will have a limited edition of only 5000 copies. The song has been performed live on the show that the band made last July in London's Hyde Park.
