While the release of Sonic Highways approaches and fans (including us) begin to quiver with impatience, the Foo Fighters have announced their arrival in Europe for 4 concerts! Dave Grohl and his band will be in England from September 14. The group headlined the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in London, sports competition for military men and women who have been injured or disabled during service. Kaiser Chiefs, Ryan Adams, Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks, The Vamps, Diversity, James Blunt also participate in the festival.
But as the Foo did not want to tumble in England for one day, they plan to give 3 secret concerts just to warm up. Suffice to say that English fans are already desperate!
The 8th album from Sonic Highways published Nov. 10. Each of its eight tracks will be presented through the series of the same name performed by Dave Grohl and aired on HBO in the month of October. Dave Grohl has described this record as "a love letter to the history of American music."
