Before you start The Evil Within 2 you have to pick one of the two modes: the shooting range mode and the chain attack mode. These two modes have their own rules and rewards.
Depending on whether you play the game in the classic difficulty or you have selected one of the other difficulty levels, the rewards will also vary in the shooting range. You can get the following:

Strategies and Tips for Shooting Mode
In shooting mode, you have to shoot moving targets and push the high score up. Note the following:
- Headshots give you the most points.
- You climb in the game when you get more hit.
- Do not shoot at the Tatiana, who sometimes appears, otherwise there are point deductions.
- Sometimes very nimble targets appear like a rat or Ruvik. Hit them quickly to increase premium points.
- Shoot the blue clock symbol to instantly activate a slow motion. You don’t have to shoot it immediately, but you should only use it when there are many goals to be seen.
If you want to get the locker key in shooting mode, you must select "Very Hard" as a difficulty and score 2500 points.
Strategies and Tips for Chain Attack Mode
The Chain Attack Mode is a bit more complex. This is where colored blocks appear and you have to shoot as many of them as possible to get combos and boost the High score.
- Try to place blocks of the same color together. Once there are enough stones for a combo, they begin to twist. Then shoot them to get more points.
- In this way blocks appear with glasses. Shoot them to increase the timer by +5 seconds.
- Don’t shoot on the blocks with the red cross as there will be point prints.
For the Locker Key you need to score 70000 points.
