Fortnite Champion Series (Chapter 3 Season 2 FNCS) is back, the game takes place every season between the best players of the Battle Royal.
The FNCS will be played in duos in the latest season and a cash prize of $ 3,008,500 is to be shared between the top players.
The dates are as follows:
Qualifications: May 2-6, May 7-8 and May 13-15, 2022
Semi-final: May 20-22, 2022
Final: May 28-29, 2022
Qualifications:
Three qualifying sessions, May 2-6, May 7-8 and May 13-15, 2022.
The top 5 teams from each qualifier (i.e. 15 teams) will be immediately entered into the FNCS Finals.
The 73 teams with the most series points in the standings qualify for the semi-finals.
Semi final
A semi-final weekend, from May 20 to 22, 2022. The qualifying format is as follows: each Victory Royale (top 1) qualifies for the final. The six most consistent teams also qualify.
Session 1: 5 games in 2h30, in which the teams 1st - 50th in the series points ranking compete. 11 teams qualify for the final (5 Victory Royale holders and the 6 most regular teams).
Session 2: 5 games in 2h30 in which the teams 1st - 61st in the series points ranking compete. 11 teams qualify for the final (5 Victory Royale holders and the 6 most regular teams).
Session 3: 6 games in 3 hours in which the teams 1st - 72nd in the series points ranking compete. 12 teams qualify for the final (6 Victory Royale holders and the 6 most regular teams).
Final
In the final, 50 teams will compete. The team with the most points will win the FNCS, but there is also another way to win the competition: the playoff tier.
