PlayStation has introduced three new subscription options and one of them is called PlayStation Plus Essential. If you want to subscribe to this service which will be available at the mid of 2022, you will have the choice between three packages, namely:
The monthly plan at $8.99
The quarterly package at $24.99
The annual package at $59.99
This subscription will allow you to take advantage of the following
Two downloadable games each month
Exclusive discounts
Cloud storage for game saves
Access to online multiplayer
As you can see, this subscription offers the same content and is available at the same price as the PS subscription which is currently available to all players.
Please note that PS Now will no longer be available as an independent service and will now be merged with the new PS Plus offers.
