FIFA 23: How to Crossplay on PC PS4 PS5 Xbox Google Stadia

EA has officially revealed the release date of FIFA 23 with the cover stars namely Kylian Mbappé and Chelsea star Samantha Kerr, the first footballer to appear on the title boxes.

Now, many fans of the series are wondering if it will be possible to play FIFA 23 in crossplay and if this is your case, the answer is yes, but with certain restrictions depending on the consoles and here is an explanatory image below:

As you can see, there are two crossplays, the first concerns the Xbox One and PS4 consoles which therefore allow certain modes to be played between the players of the two consoles, while the second takes over all the rest of the platforms, namely PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Google Stadia. So if you're on PS4 or Xbox One, you won't be able to play with PC players or on next-gen consoles and vice versa.

Additionally, EA has clarified that in FIFA 23, crossplay will be available at launch in FUT Division Rivals (except Co-Op), FUT Champions, FUT Ultimate Online Draft, FUT Online Friendlies (except Co-Op), FUT Play a Friend, Online Friendlies, Online Seasons Online (except in Co-Op) and the Virtual Bundesliga competitive game mode which is available for players based in Germany. Crossplay is initially enabled for all players on first launch of FIFA 23, provided platform-level settings allow it, and it can be disabled at any time.

FIFA 23 will be released on September 30 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia and that early access will be available on September 27 for players who have pre-ordered the Ultimate edition, as well as for EA Play Pro subscribers.
