Turn Fortify into damage, healing, and near-immortality
If you love surviving deadly hits while still dishing out solid damage, this is the Necro build for you. By combining Kessime’s Legacy, Blood Wave, and Fortify scaling, we’ll create a frontline tank that can solo bosses, clear dungeons, and walk through Helltides like it's nothing.
💪 Why This Build Works
-
Kessime’s Legacy boosts Blood Wave + Fortify-based damage
-
Tons of self-healing, Barrier, and Fortify generation
-
Extremely hard to kill, even in Nightmare Tier 100
-
Great synergy with Blood Orbs, Vampiric powers, and Decrepify
🧬 Core Skills

🧠 How to Play the Tank Loop
-
Open with Tendrils → pulls enemies + applies Vulnerable
-
Cast Decrepify → slows enemies + cooldown reduction
-
Use Blood Wave → 3x hit + Fortify bonus damage
-
Spam Blood Surge → AoE + Blood Orb generation
-
Use Blood Mist → Reset skills, get immunity, build corpses
-
Repeat, staying fully Fortified almost nonstop
You're not trying to speed-clear—you outlast and outtank, chunking enemies down while you shrug off hits.
🧪 Variants & Options
-
Swap in Bone Spirit + Blood Artisan’s Cuirass for burst tank combo
-
Run Iron Maiden for passive damage vs. attackers (if skipping Surge)
-
Add minions back for some off-tanking, or run full Sacrifice for power

💭 Final Thoughts
This is the “I don’t die” Necromancer. The Fortify Tank build doesn’t top DPS charts, but it survives anything, keeps dealing damage, and laughs at even Uber bosses. Kessime’s Legacy + Fortify bonuses = endless durability.
Great if you’re tired of glass cannon metas and want to just stand there and delete waves of enemies.
