One of your old acquaintances has gone missing in the Snowy Mountains, and it’s up to Sam to bring him home. Here’s exactly where to find him and how to survive the harsh conditions.
๐งญ Mission Context – Order 37: Rescue the Adventurer
In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Order 37 sends you on a rescue mission to save the Adventurer, much like the kangaroo you previously saved. But unlike your pizza deliveries, this one isn’t warm and cheesy — it’s a brutal trek through snow, cliffs, and stormy winds.
❄️ Why This Rescue Mission Is Tough
Even though the Adventurer's location is marked on your map, this mission is deceptively hard for several reasons:
-
❄️ Extreme weather: A snowstorm severely reduces visibility.
-
๐️ Vertical terrain: You’ll need to climb sloped, rocky paths with snow up to your knees.
-
๐งณ Limited gear: At this stage, you likely don’t yet have ultimate boots or off-road tires, making traversal more painful.
-
⚠️ Wide search zone: The target area on your map is misleadingly large, and energy drains quickly in the cold.
๐ Exact Location of the Adventurer
To find the Adventurer:-
Head to the left side of the mapped circle when approaching from below.
-
Look for a rocky ledge slightly raised above the snowy ground.
-
Circle left and climb up — the Adventurer is lying there, waiting.
-
Use your scanner to ping him once you're close; it can help reveal his outline even in poor visibility.
๐ก Community Tip: Equip thermal pads if available, and bring extra stamina items. You’re likely to slip, fall, or get caught in wind — come prepared.
๐ Rescue Rewards
After you safely return the Adventurer to his son, you’ll unlock:
-
๐งค Reinforced Climbing Gloves (great for future mountain missions)
-
๐ก His refuge will join the Chiral Network, expanding your delivery options and fast-travel links
