Currensy drops The Stoned Immaculate, review

Currensy is generally famous in the mix-tape trail as a rapper who sings about weed and staying fly over some wonderful beats. He began his career with Master P's No Limit Records. While he was there, his only involvement with them was some guest appearances on other projects. A several years later, he singed with Cash Money Records hoping to advance his career, but because of his records getting pushed back number of occasions he left them shortly afterward. He then went to drop a series of mixtapes. He had entered into a contract with an indie label to release two highly praised records "This Ain't No Mixtape" and "Jet Files". He then caught the eye of Damon Dash, who signed Currensy to his new label - the Def Jam distributed. From there, he released his most famous records - "Pilot Talk" and "Pilot Talk II" few months later. Although he has affirmed his lack of interest in major labels in the past, he amazed everyone when he singed with Warner Bros. Records. His first record for them was "Covert Coup", and he then followed it up with "Weekend At Burnie's" and Muscle Car Chronicles.

It's been only four months since the release of his last album, Currensy returns with “The Stoned Immaculate”, his fourth and first major record released through his current label. The album kicks off with its lead single “What It Look Like” featuring wale and "Jet Life" featuring Wiz Khalifa & Big K.R.I.T. serves as a second single off the album.
