Sigur Ros have been one of the most successful bands in recent years. They play a mix of rock, dream pop and post-rock. Given that they are from Island someone would expect them to sing in Icelandic but actually they have their own language. Following a four-year break, a couple of independent music projects, and a documentary film, Sigur Ros officially returned with their sixth album “Valtari” in 2012. It is just over a year after the release of their last record; Sigur Ros are gearing up to drop their next studio album “Kveikur” on June 18, 2013. "Brennisteinn" was released as a promotional single from the album.
