Lindsay Lohan is currently in a rehabilitation clinic and plans to return to the acting career when discharged. Lindsay would probably play the lead role of Anastasia in the upcoming film adaptation of 50 Shades of Gray (50 SoG).

Lindsay needs an important role. It needs to be part of a movie that everyone wants to see and believe that 50 SoG has a role in which she would be ideal, a source said. She read the book several times and knows that she can pull this character off.
However, a representative of the star did not confirm her interest in the film and said that the actress is only concerned with taking care of her health at the time.
50 SoG tells the story of Anastasia, who is looking forward to finishing her final exams, and starting a brand new life in Seattle. When her best falls ill making her unable to complete an interview for the school magazine, she lets herself to be drafted. Upon meeting Grey, she finds herself attracted to him in ways she's never been to anyone else before.
