The British actress Kelly Reilly ("Eden Lake", "Flight") will star in ABC’s upcoming mini-series "The Black Box". In the show she plays as famous and mysterious neuroscientist named Elizabeth Black.
The ABC’s mini-series “The Black Box” will have 13 episodes and tells the story of a famous neuroscientist who spends a perfect life on the outside world, plus a successful career. However, she hides a dark secret. This includes her fight against mental illness.
Behind the series is the author Amy Holden Jones ("Indecent Proposal," "The Relic"). Simon Curtis ("Cranford" My Week with Marilyn) will helm the project, while "X-Men" director Bryan Singer is also attached to the production.
The Black Box is expected to start filming later this year for a planned premiere date set fall 2014.
