William Orbit denies a duet between Britney Spears and Lady Gaga

William Orbit used his Twitter to throw a bucket of cold water on those who dreamed of a duet between Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. The pair allegedly collaborated on "Alien", one of the singles taken from the Princess of Pop’s upcoming album, but this is just rumors, according to the producer of the song.

"I see that the rumors about the involvement of Gaga on 'Alien'. You probably already know it, but I can confirm: no collaboration," Orbit wrote.

The buzz around the potential partnership was initiated in the middle of the month after will.i.am , another producer of Spears’ new album had praised Gaga’s "artpop" using the hashtag # creativeALIEN.

The Lady Gaga’s new album "artpop" will hit stores on November 11, while "Britney Jean will be available on December 3.
