Blink-182 to enter the studio to record new album this year (2013)

The blink-182 have confirmed to be headlining one of the days of the Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK, and according to the singer, Mark Hoppus, the band will perform brand new songs at the festival.

Jake Bugg, Of Mice & Men, Disclosure, Metronomy, Wilkinson and I Am Legion have also confirmed to perform at the event.

"We will play with new material," says the musician. "Come to the studio soon after the holidays, and the plan is to have an album ready by the festival."

The next album will be the first since the trio resigned from Interscope Records in 2011. The last project was the band's EP "Dogs Eating Dogs" 2012.
