"Invisible": U2’s new song raises over $ 3 million to charity

In 36 hours, the U2 grossed more than $ 3 million to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria with their new single "Invisible".

The song was released last Sunday (2) during the Super Bowl event and was available for free download on iTunes until the early hours of Tuesday (4).

For every download of the track, the Bank of America donated $ 1 for the institution. The song came to be downloaded 3,138,470 times and exceeded the initial expectations of raising $ 2 million.

The song is now on sale for $ 1.29. The yield of the music will remain for the institution by Bank Of America.
