The Who announces 50th anniversary tour and plans retire

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey announced the first dates of what promises to be the final tour of The Who. Their first nine shows of "The Who Hits 50" will take place in Britain between November 30 and December 17.

Townshend, guitarist and songwriter of the band, said that the setlist will not only include big hits, but also songs beloved by fans and some obscurities of the group's repertoire.

The Daltrey, lead singer said that this tour will mark the beginning of the "long goodbye" of the band. The duo said the tour will be taken to other countries - it is worth remembering that The Who is one of the few classic rock bands still active, it never showed in Brazil.

Will we finally get the chance to hear "Won’t Get Fooled Again", "My Generation" and "Baba O'Riley" live on our stage?
