Be Lucky: The Who drops its first song in eight years

After eight years without releasing any new material, The Who today released "Be Lucky" single that will be on its next compilation album.

The title "Be Lucky" apparently refers to the mega hit "Get Lucky" from Daft Punk - mentioned in the song (like Australia's AC / DC ). The question says: "if you want to climb without any protection / Daft Punk will tell you that all will be well."

The track was recorded by the two surviving band members, guitarist and songwriter Pete Towshend and vocalist Roger Daltrey. They are accompanied by Pallodino Pino on bass, Zak Starkey on drums and Mick Talbot on keyboards.

The Who announced a series of concerts in Britain to be held in November and December.
