Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS GO) has got a new update -D3D9EX to enhance the game's performance. According to developers, this boot command will reduce the use of processing memory significantly. The startup option enables you to use DirectX 9Ex in the game, which ensures faster game rendering for Win 7 versions.
Here's how to activate the new command -D3D9EX in CS: GO.
- Locate the CS: GO within Steam. The game is in the "Library" section
- Right click on the shortcut and go to the properties;
- In the next window, click on "Set startup options"
- Enter the "-d3d9ex" command, without the quotation marks, in the text box that will appear. If you use more than one boot command, enter it at the end, always with a space at the end of the previous command.
After clicking ok, the command will already be activated in the game. The effect seems to vary according to the versions of Windows, however, it is notable an improvement in the window change (alt + tab) and in some cases there is a slight improvement in frames per second (fps).
