Valorant patch 5.01 is now live. As usual, the new update doesn't bring as many changes as other Riot games. Here we’ll give you the important changes of patch 5.01.

VALORANT Patch 5.01, all agent changes

Three agents will be modified for this patch: Phoenix, Yoru and KAY/O.

Phoenix becomes much more effective overall. With better flash, a more dynamic wall and an ultimate that no longer removes the armor.

Curveball (Q, flash):

Maximum duration increased from 1.1 seconds to 1.5 seconds.

Delay before explosion reduced from 0.7 seconds to 0.5 seconds.

Inferno (C, wall)

The Phoenix will take less time to re-equip his weapon.

Run it Back (X, Ultimate)

Phoenix no longer loses the shield he had before activating his ultimate.

Despite being redesigned, Yoru is still not efficient enough. The developers choose to make his ultimate skill even more dangerous.
