Dead Space Remake: how to unlock secret ending in DSR?

Dead Space Remake is now available to play and in this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock secret ending that did not exist in the original game.

 

In order to unlock the secret ending, you will need to follow a few steps. You will first have to unlock New Game+ or NG+ mode and restart a game in that mode. You will then have to collect 12 Marker fragments, which are available in each of the chapters.

 

Once all the fragments have been collected, you will have to go to the Crew Quarters, more precisely in Captain B. Mathius room. You will then have to interact with the candles placed on the desk.

 

Make sure that all the candles have a Marker fragment, otherwise you won't get the secret or alternate ending. You can now finish the game and the cutscene will play for you.
