Diablo 4: how to play D4 on Steam Deck?

In this short guide, we’ll show you how to play Diablo 4 (D4) on Steam Deck.

 

To be able to run Diablo 4 on your Steam Deck, you’ll first need to install the Battle.net client. To do this, we recommend the Lutris application. Go to the desktop mode of your Steam Deck, click on "Discover" then search for Lutris and install it.

 

Now, launch Lutris, click the plus (+) icon on the top left to add a game and find and install Battle.net. Just follow the instructions to proceed with the installation.

 

Now, all you have to do is log into Battle.net and install Diablo 4, but for that you need to add Lutris as a non-Steam game in order to use it through the portable UI. Launch the Steam desktop application while staying in desktop mode and go to the Games tab, click on Add a non-Steam game to my library and select Lutris.

 

You can now launch Battle.net through Lutris from the regular Steam Deck UI, log in to your account and install Diablo 4 and play it!
