Lies of P (LoP) provides an experience similar to Souls-like games. In the LoP, you can equip yourself with a variety of weapons from the game world to fight in the way that suits you best.
There are two different types of weaponry available in the game: Normal weapons that have no additional or hidden effects but may be disassembled and put back together to customize your experience and then you have Special Weapons or Boss Weapons that you can only unlock under specific conditions.
Here's how to unlock Special weapons (Boss Weapons) in LoP
In order to access Special weaponry in Lies of P, you must have progressed through the game to Chapter 4 in St. Frangelico Cathedral. The person who will offer you, or rather trade / exchange, the Special Weapons can be found in this region. He is a humanoid with a dog's head by the name of Alidoro.
To find or locate him, you must visit the St. Francis Cathedral Library. After arriving at the library teleport, proceed along the main corridor until you come to a sizable room where an infected is on patrol. An elevator is located at the far end of this chamber. If you use the elevator at the back of this chamber, it will take you to a balcony where Alidoro the Hound is waiting for you.
By speaking with him, you can give him the directions to the Factory or the Krat Hotel. Although it will be easy to find in the Krat Hotel, but you won't respect Gepetto's advice!
If you wish to purchase Special Weapons from him then you have to spend rare or special Boss Ergos. Do not use your Boss Ergos to gain more Ergo; instead, keep them for Alidoro. Otherwise, you won't be able to purchase weapons connected to Ergos!
That's all you have to do to gain access to Special Weapons. The most important thing is to refrain from using Boss Ergos other than to purchase Special Weapons.
