The image is divided into three sections: on the left, a combat scene labeled "Assassination"; in the center, "Salieri's Warehouse" with a "REWARD!" tag; and on the right, a dirt road labeled "Delizia Tempesta". The top right corner features an infographic listing the challenge types (Assassination, Standoff, Circuit Race, Road Sprint, Time Trial) and counts. A banner at the bottom reads: "MASTER ALL 5 TYPES TO UNLOCK THE DELIZIA TEMPESTA".
Quick Answer: Salieri’s Challenges consist of 11 activities: 2 Assassinations, 2 Standoffs, 2 Circuit Races, 2 Road Sprints, and 3 Time Trials.

How to Access Salieri’s Challenges

Salieri acts as the main contact for the new Man of Honor Free Ride content. The expansion adds a separate set of jobs and extreme challenges alongside new exploration content.

Head to Salieri’s Warehouse in Free Ride mode to access his activities.

If you're working through the Free Ride content for the first time, it's useful to distinguish between Salieri's Jobs and Salieri's Challenges. They are separate activity groups with different objectives.

For the complete job list, see our Salieri Jobs Guide — All 7 Jobs, Locations & Objectives.

All 11 Salieri’s Challenges

There are 11 challenges in the sequence.

6Targa CourseRoad Sprint

The challenges fall into five categories:

  • Assassination — 2 challenges
  • Standoff — 2 challenges
  • Circuit Race — 2 challenges
  • Road Sprint — 2 challenges
  • Time Trial — 3 challenges

Assassination Challenges

The first two activities focus on eliminating targets while maximizing your performance.

1. Norman Ruins

Type: Assassination

Norman Ruins is the first assassination challenge. The objective revolves around taking out the designated targets while managing your approach and score. Keep an eye out for opportunities to increase your result rather than simply rushing toward the final target.

Safe-cracking and score: One useful mechanic in the Assassination activities is safe cracking. Interacting with safes can increase your score, making them worth checking when you have enough time and the situation is safe. If you're trying to improve your star result, don't automatically ignore optional score opportunities.

2. The Lodge

Type: Assassination

The Lodge is the second assassination challenge. The same general principle applies: complete the assassination objective while looking for opportunities to improve your score.

Quick tip: If you're replaying the challenge for a better result, don't focus exclusively on the target. Look for the additional scoring opportunities available during the encounter.

Standoff Challenges

Standoffs work differently from standard combat encounters because time becomes part of the challenge.

3. Collezolfo Stud Farm

Type: Standoff

Collezolfo Stud Farm introduces the Standoff format. A countdown is displayed during the encounter, creating pressure to keep the challenge going rather than simply hiding and eliminating enemies slowly.

The important mechanic: Defeating and looting enemies can add time to the clock. That means the timer isn't simply something you wait out. You can actively extend your remaining time by continuing to engage enemies and collecting the available bonuses.

4. Mining Prospect

Type: Standoff

Mining Prospect uses the same timed combat concept. The key is to keep the fight moving.

How to manage the Standoff timer: Keep fighting → defeat enemies → loot them → gain additional time → continue the encounter. If the clock is getting low, prioritize opportunities that can extend it rather than wasting time repositioning unnecessarily. This makes Standoffs more aggressive than a normal Free Ride shootout.

Racing Challenges

The remaining activities are driving challenges divided into three categories:

  • Circuit Races
  • Road Sprints
  • Time Trials

The racing challenges demonstrate vehicles including the Carozella Nero and Trautenberg 3600TF.

Circuit Races

Circuit Races require you to complete a defined course while maintaining control of the vehicle.

5. Vineyard Tour — Type: Circuit Race | Vehicle: Carozella Nero
Focus on maintaining a clean racing line rather than constantly trying to take shortcuts. Losing control through corners can cost more time than a slightly slower but safer approach.

9. Factory Loop — Type: Circuit Race | Vehicle: Carozella Nero
The enclosed industrial surroundings make vehicle control particularly important. Avoid unnecessary collisions and concentrate on completing the course consistently.

Road Sprints

Road Sprints are point-to-point driving challenges.

6. Targa Course — Type: Road Sprint | Vehicle: Carozella Nero
The goal is straightforward: follow the route and reach the finish as quickly as possible. Avoid unnecessary detours and keep your speed up whenever the road allows it.

10. Temple Sprint — Type: Road Sprint | Vehicle: Carozella Nero
Like Targa Course, the emphasis is on speed and maintaining control throughout the route.

Time Trials

Time Trials are all about beating the clock. Unlike Standoffs, where the timer can be extended through combat actions, Time Trials put the emphasis directly on your driving performance.

7. Mine Dash — Type: Time Trial | Vehicle: Carozella Nero
The safest approach is to learn the route first and then work on improving your time. A clean run is often more useful than taking risky shortcuts that can result in a crash.

8. Portside Trail — Type: Time Trial | Vehicle: Carozella Nero
Maintain momentum and avoid unnecessary collisions. If you're chasing a better star result, replaying the course after learning its turns can make a significant difference.

11. East Valley Run — Type: Time Trial | Vehicle: Trautenberg 3600TF
This Time Trial uses the Trautenberg 3600TF, giving the final activity a different vehicle setup from the earlier Carozella Nero races.

How the 3-Star System Works

Each Salieri’s Challenge uses a three-star rating system. Your result is displayed after completing a challenge, allowing you to see how well you performed.

The important distinction: Getting three stars is clearly the top result, but don't assume that 33/33 stars are automatically required for every reward. The challenge sequence demonstrates three-star results for all 11 activities, followed by the Delizia Tempesta reward. However, the exact requirement for obtaining that vehicle should not be confused with the existence of the three-star rating itself.

  • 1–3 stars: The game tracks your performance.
  • 3 stars: The highest displayed result.
  • 33 total stars: The theoretical maximum across 11 challenges.
  • 33/33 required for Delizia Tempesta: Not something you should assume without confirmation.

If you're aiming for the best possible completion, however, there is little downside to replaying challenges and improving your star results.

Tips for Better Challenge Results

  1. Learn the activity before chasing the best result – Your first completion doesn't have to be perfect. Use the initial run to understand enemy positions, the route, dangerous corners, timer opportunities, and optional scoring interactions. Then replay with the route already familiar.
  2. Use the Standoff timer to your advantage – When the timer is running low, look for enemies you can eliminate and loot to extend the clock. Fight → loot → gain time → keep fighting. Don't spend too long hiding while the clock continues to fall.
  3. Crack safes during Assassinations when practical – Safe interactions can provide additional score during Assassination challenges. Keep an eye out for safes rather than treating the assassination target as the only thing that matters.
  4. Prioritize clean driving – For races and time trials, crashing can erase the advantage gained from aggressive driving. A slightly slower clean corner is often better than losing control at high speed.
  5. Replay difficult challenges – You don't need to treat the first attempt as your final score. Replay the activity after learning its route or combat layout, then concentrate on improving the result.

Salieri’s Challenges Rewards

The biggest reward associated with the challenge sequence is the Delizia Tempesta. The vehicle appears after completion of the demonstrated challenge sequence.

Delizia Tempesta

Reward: Delizia Tempesta vehicle

The reward makes the Salieri challenge track worth completing even if you're primarily interested in expanding your Free Ride vehicle collection. The important thing is to distinguish the reward appearance from an unconfirmed claim that every individual challenge must receive three stars.

How to Get the Delizia Tempesta

To work toward the Delizia Tempesta, complete Salieri's Challenge sequence through: East Valley Run.

After finishing the challenge track, check your available vehicle rewards/selection.

Want the safest completion strategy? Complete every challenge and aim for the highest star result you can achieve. If one challenge produces a lower rating, replay it and improve your result rather than assuming the entire progression is permanently affected.

Salieri’s Challenges vs. Salieri’s Jobs

If you're completing all of Salieri's Free Ride content, don't confuse his Jobs with his Challenges.

Salieri's Jobs – These are separate Free Ride activities involving objectives such as deliveries, combat, investigations, and other jobs. We have a separate guide covering the complete set: Mafia: The Old Country Salieri Jobs Guide — All 7 Jobs, Locations & Objectives.

Sulfur Trucks – The Sulfur Truck activity is another part of Salieri's Free Ride content. If you're working toward completing that side of the update, use our Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor — All 15 Sulfur Trucks & Locations guide.
