Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor: All Race Courses & Vehicles

Last Updated: August 18, 2026

The Man of Honor DLC adds a collection of driving challenges to Mafia: The Old Country through Salieri’s Challenges in Free Ride mode.

There are 7 race challenges in total, divided into three categories:

  • Circuit Races — 3 laps against AI opponents
  • Road Sprints — point-to-point races
  • Time Trials — solo checkpoint runs against the clock

Each race also uses a specific vehicle, so you cannot simply pick your favorite car for every event.

A cinematic in-game screenshot from Mafia: The Old Country, showing the black and gold Delizia Tempesta race car speeding along a dusty, vineyard-lined dirt road. In the background, an Italian hillside village is visible under a warm, golden sky. The upper-left corner has a stylized 'MAFIA: THE OLD COUNTRY / MAN OF HONOR DLC' logo, and the upper-right corner has a prominent title card reading 'MAFIA: THE OLD COUNTRY / Man of Honor: All Race Courses & Vehicles'. The car kicks up a large cloud of dust.
Quick answer: There are 7 races, using the Carozella Nero and Trautenberg 3600TF. Circuit Races use the Carozella Nero, while the Road Sprints and Time Trials use the Trautenberg 3600TF.

The vehicle assignments are fixed for these events. The Carozella Nero is used for the two Circuit Races, while the Trautenberg 3600TF handles both Road Sprints and all three Time Trials.

1. Vineyard Tour

Type: Circuit Race  |  Vehicle: Carozella Nero  |  Format: 3 laps

Vineyard Tour takes place around the vineyard countryside, with the route passing through areas surrounded by grapevines, stone walls, and narrow rural roads. Unlike the Time Trials, this event puts you directly against AI competitors.

What to expect:

  • 3-lap circuit
  • Multiple AI opponents
  • Vineyard roads and tight corners
  • Stone walls and narrow sections
  • Carozella Nero is assigned automatically

The biggest challenge is maintaining speed through the tighter sections without losing control of the vehicle.

2. Targa Course

Type: Road Sprint  |  Vehicle: Trautenberg 3600TF  |  Format: Point-to-point

Targa Course is a point-to-point race through mountainous countryside. The route features narrow bends, elevation changes, and cliffside sections, making vehicle control especially important.

What to expect:

  • Point-to-point race
  • AI opponents
  • Mountain roads
  • Tight bends
  • Cliffside sections
  • Trautenberg 3600TF

There are no laps to complete. Your objective is simply to reach the finish ahead of the other racers.

3. Mine Dash

Type: Time Trial  |  Vehicle: Trautenberg 3600TF  |  Format: Checkpoint time trial

Mine Dash takes the race into the mining area, using dirt tracks and industrial surroundings. This is a solo race against the clock rather than a conventional race against AI drivers.

What to expect:

  • Solo time trial
  • Mine entrance and dirt roads
  • Industrial sections
  • Checkpoint system
  • Trautenberg 3600TF

The checkpoints are particularly important because they give you additional time to continue the run.

4. Portside Trail

Type: Time Trial  |  Vehicle: Trautenberg 3600TF  |  Format: Checkpoint time trial

Portside Trail moves the action toward the waterfront and port area. The route passes through areas featuring dockside crates, waterfront roads, and warehouse surroundings.

What to expect:

  • Solo time trial
  • Port and waterfront sections
  • Dockside obstacles
  • Checkpoints
  • Trautenberg 3600TF

Watch your approach to corners carefully. Losing too much speed can make it harder to reach the next checkpoint before the timer expires.

5. Factory Loop

Type: Circuit Race  |  Vehicle: Carozella Nero  |  Format: 3 laps

Factory Loop is the second Circuit Race in Salieri's racing challenges. The course runs through a factory environment with loading areas, brick walls, and tighter industrial sections.

What to expect:

  • 3 laps
  • AI opponents
  • Factory complex
  • Loading docks
  • Tight corners
  • Carozella Nero

Because you repeat the same course three times, learning the corners is particularly useful. A mistake that costs time on the first lap can be avoided on the following laps.

6. Temple Sprint

Type: Road Sprint  |  Vehicle: Trautenberg 3600TF  |  Format: Point-to-point

Temple Sprint is another point-to-point race, taking you through an area surrounding temple ruins. The course includes stone pillars, forest roads, and temple surroundings.

What to expect:

  • Point-to-point race
  • AI opponents
  • Temple ruins
  • Forest sections
  • Trautenberg 3600TF

Since there are no laps, there is no opportunity to make up time by learning the route on another lap. Keeping the car under control through the narrow sections is important.

7. East Valley Run

Type: Time Trial  |  Vehicle: Trautenberg 3600TF  |  Format: Checkpoint time trial

East Valley Run is the final Time Trial in the group. The course crosses open countryside, with valley roads, fields, and bridge sections along the route.

What to expect:

  • Solo time trial
  • Open countryside
  • Valley roads
  • Fields
  • Bridge section
  • Checkpoint timer
  • Trautenberg 3600TF

Use the open sections to maintain speed while preparing early for upcoming turns and checkpoints.

Race Categories Explained

The seven races are divided into three different formats.

Circuit Races – There are 2 Circuit Races: Vineyard Tour and Factory Loop. These are traditional lap-based races against AI competitors. Both circuits use the Carozella Nero and consist of 3 laps. The key to these races is consistency. Learning the route means you can improve your line and avoid repeating mistakes on later laps.

Road Sprints – There are 2 Road Sprints: Targa Course and Temple Sprint. These are point-to-point races against AI opponents. Unlike Circuit Races, there are no repeated laps. You need to reach the finish as quickly as possible while maintaining control of the Trautenberg 3600TF.

Time Trials – There are 3 Time Trials: Mine Dash, Portside Trail, and East Valley Run. These are solo races against the clock. The important difference is the checkpoint system. Reaching checkpoints extends the available time, allowing the run to continue.

Vehicle Assignments

The racing challenges use two primary vehicles.

Carozella Nero – Used for: Vineyard Tour and Factory Loop. The Carozella Nero is therefore the dedicated vehicle for the two Circuit Races.

Trautenberg 3600TF – Used for: Targa Course, Mine Dash, Portside Trail, Temple Sprint, and East Valley Run. The Trautenberg 3600TF handles all Road Sprint and Time Trial events in this challenge group.

The vehicles are assigned to the individual challenges, so you should focus on learning each course rather than trying to build a custom vehicle setup.

How Time Trial Checkpoints Work

The three Time Trials use a straightforward checkpoint mechanic. As the timer counts down, you need to reach the next checkpoint before time runs out. Passing through a checkpoint provides a +5-second time bonus, giving you additional time to continue toward the next marker.

The basic loop is: Drive fast → reach checkpoint → gain +5 seconds → continue → reach next checkpoint. If the timer reaches zero before you reach the next checkpoint, the Time Trial ends.

Best approach:

  • Keep your speed up on straight sections.
  • Brake before sharp corners rather than crashing into them.
  • Look ahead for the next checkpoint.
  • Avoid unnecessary collisions.
  • Use the additional checkpoint time to build a buffer.
  • Don't sacrifice too much control simply to gain a few seconds.

The checkpoint system makes route knowledge especially valuable on Mine Dash, Portside Trail, and East Valley Run.

3-Star Tips

Each challenge uses a three-star rating system, with completed challenges displaying their earned star rating. The exact numerical thresholds for the individual three-star results are not presented as a simple universal requirement, so the safest approach is to treat three stars as the performance target rather than relying on a single published number.

For Circuit Races – Focus on: clean cornering, maintaining speed, avoiding collisions, learning the three-lap route, staying ahead of the AI pack.

For Road Sprints – Focus on: fast starts, maintaining momentum, braking before sharp bends, avoiding roadside obstacles, learning the point-to-point route.

For Time Trials – Focus on: reaching every checkpoint, maintaining a healthy time buffer, avoiding crashes, taking efficient lines, using the +5-second checkpoint bonuses effectively.

You don't need to approach every race in exactly the same way. Circuit Races reward consistency, while Time Trials place much more emphasis on route knowledge and time management.

Delizia Tempesta Reward

The Delizia Tempesta is associated with the Salieri's Challenges reward progression. After completing the challenge sequence shown in the racing activities, the Delizia Tempesta appears as a reward.

However, don't assume that a specific hidden 33-star requirement is necessary unless the game explicitly tells you so. The practical goal is to work through the complete challenge sequence while earning as many stars as possible.

This makes the Delizia Tempesta one of the most interesting reasons to complete Salieri's racing content.
