Dazmand is now available in Aniimo through the limited-time Aniimo Discovery event. Unlike a normal wild Aniimo, Dazmand is tracked through special Search Attempts that send you to an active investigation area.
The event also gives you a path toward a Perfect Dazmand Egg, Research Center bonuses, and the Thunder Soul needed to evolve Pomegg into Dazmand.

Dazmand Discovery Event Dates
The Aniimo Discovery event featuring Dazmand runs from September 25 until October 9, 2026, with the exact end time depending on your server region.
Because the event is temporary, it's worth using your free Search Attempts whenever they're available. Unused free attempts don't simply accumulate indefinitely, so checking the event regularly is better than waiting until the final few days.
The event is built around three main goals:
- Finding Dazmand through Search Attempts
- Completing its ecological research
- Improving your chances of finding better Dazmand through the Research Center
You can continue working on the event throughout its duration, including returning for additional searches after you've completed the initial research objectives.
How Dazmand Search Attempts Work
Dazmand doesn't simply appear as a permanent spawn that you can repeatedly farm whenever you want. The Discovery event uses Search Attempts to locate groups of the target Aniimo.
The event interface shows up to five available Search Attempts.
The first three searches are free
The first three available searches are free, while additional searches can use Vein Essence.
Your free Search Attempts replenish periodically during the event. Because they don't stack indefinitely, it's worth using them rather than letting a refresh go to waste.
Should You Spend Vein Essence to Reach 20 Dazmand?
Not necessarily.
The main catch objective requires 20 Dazmand, but a single set of searches may leave you at something like 17 or 18.
That's not a sign that you've failed the event.
Wait for your Search Attempts to replenish and continue the investigation. Spending Vein Essence is an option when you want additional searches immediately, but it isn't something you automatically need to do just because you're a few catches short.
Where to Find Dazmand
After starting a Dazmand Search, the event points you toward the area where the target has been detected.
The investigation takes you into the Rosetower Woods area, where Dazmand can be found together with groups of Pomegg.
Look for the investigation marker after completing the Search. Once you're in the target area, the game will indicate that a Dazmand family has been discovered.
The important thing to remember is that the Search Attempt determines the investigation location. You shouldn't need to wander around Rosetower Woods looking for a permanent Dazmand spawn.
How to Catch Dazmand
Once you reach the investigation area, you'll find a group containing Dazmand and Pomegg.
You can catch them individually, but the Tumbler makes dealing with the group considerably faster.
Use the Tumbler for Group Captures
The Tumbler can capture multiple Aniimo together, making it particularly useful for the Dazmand research objectives.
If you're trying to reach 20 catches quickly:
- Enter the investigation area.
- Locate the Dazmand/Pomegg group.
- Use the Tumbler to capture multiple targets.
- Make sure you actually capture the Dazmand before leaving.
- Check your research progress before moving on.
The number of Dazmand you encounter can vary, so don't expect every Search to produce exactly the same number.

Completing this branch provides a 200% increased chance of encountering a Perfect Dazmand.
This is an increased chance rather than a guarantee, so don't assume every subsequent search will produce a Perfect Dazmand.
If you're specifically hunting for high-potential Dazmand, however, this is one of the most useful reasons to keep progressing the Research Center.

The Sparkling branch increases the chance of encountering a Sparkling Dazmand.
The progression increases the bonus through:

The Perfect Dazmand Egg is one of the main rewards from the Discovery investigation.
Its description indicates that it contains an exceptionally gifted Dazmand and guarantees Perfect potential.
To work toward the egg:
- Start the Dazmand Discovery investigation.
- Use your Search Attempts to locate Dazmand.
- Complete the Dazmand Discovery investigation and reach the 20 Dazmand catch milestone.
- Claim the Perfect Dazmand Egg reward.

Dazmand also has a branching evolution path connected to Pomegg.
You need the special evolution material Thunder Soul to unlock the transformation.

Can Regional Pomegg Evolve Into Dazmand?
No.
The Dazmand branching evolution is tied to the basic Pomegg.
Regional Pomegg variants cannot use this particular evolution branch.
This is important if you've been collecting different Pomegg variants and assumed any of them could eventually become Dazmand.
Before spending resources on a regional variant for this purpose, make sure you're working with the standard Pomegg required by the Dazmand evolution path.
Dazmand Skills
Dazmand is more than an event collection target. Its kit is built around Lightning damage, Lightning Debuffs, and team support.
Thunder Sweep
Thunder Sweep is a physical area attack that performs a spinning kick and pulls nearby targets in front of Dazmand.
It also increases the entire team's CRIT Rate for Lightning damage by 20% for 20 seconds.
The skill costs 30 EP and has a very short cooldown, making it one of Dazmand's most useful repeatable abilities.
Electricity Shock
Electricity Shock turns Dazmand into a ball and sends it toward the target.
The attack applies five Lightning Debuff stacks.
When the target has more than five stacks after the hit, it can trigger Paralysis for five seconds, reducing movement and attack speed.
Lightning Debuff also increases the target's vulnerability to electric damage as additional stacks accumulate, up to the skill's stated maximum.
Lightning Storm
Lightning Storm is Dazmand's Ultimate.
It creates a large movable lightning attack that hits 12 times, with each hit applying a Lightning Debuff.
One useful feature is that Dazmand can continue moving while the Ultimate is being cast.
Spotlight Moment
Spotlight Moment activates every 15 seconds.
The first skill used within five seconds of Dazmand entering battle costs no EP.
This works especially well with Thunder Sweep because you can enter combat and immediately establish Dazmand's Lightning CRIT support without paying the normal EP cost.
