How Research Center Progression Works
The Research Center starts with Nova Secrets available, while the Potential and Sparkling branches are initially locked.
Each branch has four research stages, with the final stage unlocking the branch's maximum Search Bonus.
You don't simply receive the maximum bonus immediately. The Search Bonus improves as you advance through the Research Center.

The +200% value represents an increased chance of encountering a Perfect Dazmand. It is not a guarantee that your next search, or every subsequent search, will produce one.
The Research Center bonus should therefore be viewed as an improved opportunity to find a Perfect Dazmand rather than a guaranteed outcome.
When Should You Care About Potential Secrets?
Potential Secrets becomes especially relevant once your goal changes from simply completing the Dazmand catch objectives to hunting for a better individual Dazmand.
