The 2013 edition of American Music Awards were held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Last night (24). Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift were the highlights of the evening with five and four awards, respectively. Among the other winners are One Direction, with the Best Pop Rock Album for "Take Me Home", Imagine Dragons in Category Alternative Rock and Ariana Grande with the award for New Artist of the year.
Besides taking the award for Best Female Artist for Soul / R & B, Rihanna was honored with the first Icon Award, Special Award for her influence on music and pop culture.
With the exception of Taylor Swift, they all perform at the event, including Katy Perry, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga.
