Ziggy Marley's New Album Wild and Free

As a fan of Ziggy Marley, I have been listening to his music since I was small. I have enjoyed most of his songs, and now he steps up once again providing you with a very familiar voice as he sounds more and more like his father Bob Marley. I enjoyed the lead single titled "Wild and Free" from his upcoming album of the same name. If you have followed him through the years, you can see that his music keeps getting better and better. The track I heard is almost all acoustic which is very mellow, but a beautiful sound, great vibes, upbeat reggae style with catchy lyrics and a different one if you are used to listening to his music.

Wild and Free is Ziggy’s 4th solo album, which is set for release on June 14, 2011 through Tuff Gong Worldwide Records.

Here is the track list for Wild and Free:

1. "Wild and Free" (featuring Woody Harrelson)

2. "Forward to Love"

3. "It" (featuring Heavy D)

4. "Changes" (featuring Daniel Marley)

---Edit--

While I truly like his earlier solo albums, I am excited with "Wild and Free." he precedes to line reggae on this release, and boy does he ever come back strong!

One of the reasons I value about Ziggy is that he carryout his own thing and is not scared to break out of the style in which a lot of fans positioned him. Julian and Stephen both voice more similar to Bob Marley than Ziggy, but you can still listen to a hint of Bob in Ziggy's voice. Akin to his father, Ziggy's music varies from lighthearted and energetic to political and thoughtful. There is a great blend on "Wild and Free." In general vibe of his words is that of self-empowerment and seeming to be inside one to stumble on answers in the center of a complex world.

I've heard the complete CD over a dozen times and yet cannot get adequate. I love the constructive tremor that Ziggy shows. I observe his music as a reward to the world.
