Fast Five Heading to BD/DVD Combo Packs and Digital Download

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has detailed and released cover art for the forthcoming release of Vin Diesel’s Fast Five, which is finally heading home on DVD, DVD combo packs, Blu-ray and digital download on October 04, 2011 with bonus features.

The Fast Five picks up right where the last one left off. Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) has escaped from the prison with the help from his friend Brian (Played by Paul Walker) and his sister Mia (Played by Jordana Brewster) and are reunited in South America, where they’re involved in robbery of cars off a train, and these cars were belonging to the Brazilian DEA. Due to internal strife, the attempt is somewhat ruined and Dominic and Brian end up as captive of a Rio gangster. They find out he needs one of the vehicles back real bad. After they flee they dismantle the vehicle to find out way.Fast Five, dvd, blu-ray, movie, Vin Diesel Meanwhile they are being hunted down by CIA agent Hobbs (played by Dwayne Johnson) and his squad who are trying to arrest Dominic. From a chip in the car, Dominic learns that the gangster has some cash hidden in different places all over the city. He and his friend Brian gather a team to go after the money.

Some of the original stars from the previous installments returned, and the Dwayne Johnson is a welcome addition to the series as a CIA agent. There’s plenty of entertainment in this movie, with the typical plot of the bad people being the good one as they are pilfering from the worse people. It makes sense when you view it. It is a good old fashioned action movie with lots of gun battles and Car chases, just like the previous installments and although it has plenty of over the top moments it is still one heck of a delightful action ride.

  1. This is a great addition to the franchise of movies. After five movies they have not lost their appeal or being able to find a new way to do the same thing and to go over the top. And of course they leave us hanging with a 6th movie in which the dead come back; I mean who knew that was coming. Working at DISH I have realized how important a great entertainment is for loud action scenes with safe destroying banks. I am still going the rental way though, seeing that on Saturday my DISH platinum package rolls into the Blockbuster Movie pass, I can rent Fast Five on Tuesday first thing, using the DVD by mail service with free in store exchanges, after the movie is over I can enjoy 3000 streaming titles to my television or 4000 more streaming to my PC, and of course the 20 movie included movie channels will make for a movie weekend, not just a movie night.
