I grew up watching TV shows that Jim Henson had produced and “THE MUPPET SHOW” is one of those shows. He would have never imagined how significant his Muppet Show have been to the kids and adults and I think it's a wonderful thing that Walt Disney is bringing this to the big screen once more.
The Soundtrack of the film truly brings in a nice trip down memory lane, with the classic single The Muppet Show Theme, featuring Joanna Newsom and The Muppets, to the last single Mahna Mahna by Piero Umiliani by Mahna Mahna and The Two Snowths. The song list covers from the The Muppet Show (70-80s) and from several big screen adaptations. What do you get from this Soundtrack is a sincere modernize of the music that had been early days from The Muppets to a whole new age group that has been so obsessed from comics from Spongebob Squarepants and Tweens that cherished Hannah Montana. If you are a fan of Jim Henson’s show then Give this Soundtrack a chance. The Original Soundtrack CD is available to purchase in the US on November 22, 2011
