The DVD will be available for the price of $30.99 SRP, Blu-ray for the price of $35.99 SRP and the Combo pack will be available for the price of $40.99 SRP. Both DVD and Blu-ray discs will contain extra features such as Blooper-Brad Loses It, Billy Beane: Re-Inventing the Game, Moneyball: Playing The Game and many more.

Directed by Bennett Miller (Capote), and the script is written by Steven Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin based on the book of the same name by Michael Lewis. The film stars Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The film covers a season in the life of the Oakland A's, an American MLB team. After being removed by the New York Yankees in the 2001 event, three top players become free, Jason Isringhausen, Johnny Damon and Jason Giambi united with other baseball teams. Realizing that these changes could be badly affected his team; Billy Beane (played by Brad Pitt) requests the team's front office for more money and is turned down. After seeing Peter Brand (played by Jonah Hill), Beane wants to Try a new method of forming a team by using what is called moneyball.

Regardless of it being a sports movie, it lacks the essence of your typical sports film. I hesitate to even call it a sports movie since the center of the film is more about behind the scenes in baseball than the real sport itself.

However, the two lead actors Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill are excellent in their respective roles, while they are excellent and fit their roles well; Brad appears even more outstanding, and the chemistry between them looks real.

Moneyball tries to show you how things got to the way they are at present in the world of baseball. It's something that baseball fans could possibly enjoy.
