Who would you like to see Play as CARRIE Moretz or Bennett?

As Stephen King's first published book, released in the seventies, no one could have expected that Carrie would be the starting of what would become the largest publishing occurrence in the past. But it is amazing how well this fiction of a young girl with telekinetic powers holds up after three decades. Perhaps it is because the story is still passionate, still stunning, and still fitting on modern life. Even after several big screen adaptations and Television shows, Carrie still has bite.

The big screen adaptation of Stephen King's classic book "Carrie" is currently in the works. Vulture claims that two well-known actresses Chloe Moretz and Haley Bennett vying for the lead role of Carrie. But who would you like to see play Carrie in the remake? Leave your comments bellow:

Updated March 27: According to Deadline that MGM has now chosen Chloe Moretz to play the role of Carrie.

Moreover, Kimberly Peirce is attached to direct the adaptation and believed to be considering either Julianne Moore or Jodie Foster to play as Carrie's mother.

Carrie is a story that almost everyone knows, mostly because the original 1976 film is such a classic and to this day is watched repeatedly by old and new fans of the story. It is the story of a sixteen year old high school girl- the bottom rung of the social ladder, brutally exploited by her devotedly religious mother- who matures into her telekinetic powers and eventually is pushed to use them in a terrible way.

The film is scheduled for release on March 15, 2013. The release date has been delayed until October 18, 2013.
