Dark Souls Video Game Heading to PC, System Specs

The highly acclaimed Xbox and PS3 version of Dark Souls game finally makes it's way to the PC in August 2012. Rebranded as Prepare to Die, which will feature new content such as equipment, NPCs, bosses and enemies.

It is a third-person action-roll playing game set in a fantasy world. Those who have played other games in the series will find that most of the basic mechanics are the same. For those who haven't, its gameplay engages defeating opponents by dodging their attacks. Unlike most roll playing games, Dark Souls is an action game mostly - closer to games like the Legend of Zelda than many other roll playing games. Defeating opponents gives the gamer with Souls, cash used to upgrade the player-character's skills or buy items. Its most significant trait is its complexity; death comes fast, and it seizes all of your currently-held souls. Dark Souls’ tagline is "Prepare to Die", and if someone goes into the game expecting a cakewalk you are in for a rude surprise.

Dark Souls (Prepare to Die) does not require a high-end gaming PC to enjoy. Lets look at the minimum requirements to run this game.
