Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release Oliver Stone's latest film "Savages," based on the Don Winslow book of the same name on DVD and Bluray on October 24, 2012. The DVD will be available for the price of $34.98 (SRP) and the Bluray will cost you $29.98 (SRP).
The film was released in theaters in July 2012, and stars Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Blake Lively and John Travolta, and earned about $49 million worldwide.
The story centers on a two marijuana sellers and their mutual girlfriend. Ben (played by Aaron Johnson) and Chon (played by Taylor Kitsch) are pals and have been for ages, while Chon is an ex-Navy officer. Apart from their love for the seaside, they have two things in common: They trade some of the most excellent drugs in the world and they reside with and openly carry on loving affairs with O (played by Blake Lively). Jointly they have lived in calm in Laguna Beach. That suddenly obstructs when a Mexican dealer move in on their trade.
