First off, I should say that I liked the original Paranormal Activity (PA) film and its sequel. Those two movies relied greatly on very slow-building tension and they convey a style that is very odd. So it appeared as no surprise to me that there was slight middle ground in viewers’ opinions of them; they loved'em or hated'em. The third installment in the PA series was my least favorite, but I can completely understand why it may be others' favorite. It also borrowed a lot from the Poltergeist movies than the other two.
Now, the fourth installment in the PA series is in production and will be released in theaters on October 19, 2012. Paramount Pictures has recently released a new teaser video clip for PA4. You can check it out below:
