Men in Black 3 (MIB3) Coming to DVD / Blu-ray, review

Sony Picture Home Entertainment will release the third installment of the commercially successful Men in Black film series to DVD, Blu-ray, UV combo pack and 3-disc DVD, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and UV combo pack on November 30, 2012.

Since its theatrical release, MIB3 has earned over $ 600 million worldwide; which is more than double its budgeted amount.

The story follows Agent J (played by Will Smith) who goes back in time to save his partner Agent K (played by Tommy Lee Jones) and the world as well. But, Agent J realizes that he has plenty to find out when he goes back to the past and is confused by all the secrets which had been hidden from him.

It's a generally accepted fact that this series headed out strong, and then hit a low with second installment. There are some people who  won't be keen to give this movie a chance as they fear things will only get bad... the surprise is that, as sequels go, this one is in fact worth seeing, not only because of Josh’s performance, but the emotive surprise twist at the end that makes clear J and K's connection.

The home video releases will include the following extras:

Spot the Alien game
Behind-the-scenes featurettes:
The Evolution of Cool: Men In Black 1960's vs. Today
Keeping It Surreal: The FX of MIB 3
Four scene investigations

  1. It’s important to save data on media that will be readable in the future, but also to use file formats that’ll be accessible in the future. 8mm Film transfer to DVD
