Kid Cudi's style of genre is somewhat hard to limit to just one; he has been somewhat of a hybrid of psychedelic rock/alternative Hip Hop star since his breakthrough album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day”. He isn't a rapper in the traditional sense nor is he the utmost singer, though he has an exclusive tone that sounds great whether he is just rapping a simple rhyme or singing a musical hook. His style even turns off some listeners, but his success shows that there are many who were able to relate to him and his emotions.
The singer is currently working on his new album Indicud, Collaboration with artists such as Ratatat, Kanye West and Pusha T. "Just What I Am" featuring King Chip was released as the first single from the album.
