Susan Ee’s Angelfall getting the Film Treatment

Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert purchased the film rights to bring Susan Ee’s best selling book series “Penryn & the End of Days” to the big screen. Raimi will produce the adaptation with Tapert, Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane will executive producing.

  

Angelfall is the first book in the “Penryn & the End of Days” series that follows 17-year old girl Penryn who has to look after her younger sister, Paige, and their schizophrenic mother in an angel ravished world, where street gangs rule the day and terror mixed with superstition rule over the night. The three make a dash for some kind of protection away from the war torn, but they don't make it far. When warrior angels unexpectedly snatch Paige, it is her sister Penryn who will do anything to get her back.
