CBS Films has revealed details on its forthcoming release of The Words on DVD and Blu-ray. Currently set for release on December 24th 2012, the home video will come with both the theatrical and extended versions of the film. It will be offered in both DVD and Blu-ray formats with bonus features as listed below:

The film is directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sterntha based on their own script. It stars Bradley Cooper as Rory Jansen, Olivia Wilde as Daniella, Zoe Saldana as Dora Jansen (Rory’s wife) and Jeremy Irons as The Old Man. The film follows Rory Jansen is a struggling writer, whose first book is continually rejected by publishers. After getting some cash from his father for him and his wife to survive, Rory finds an old manuscript and claimed it to be his own. His boss sees this as a great work, and instantly he becomes famous but with a secret that no one knows. Then the person who really wrote the manuscript appears and how Rory copes with that is the center of the movie.
