Die Hard 5 Film Score (OST) Composed by Marco Beltrami

In the late 80’s a little film came out which would change the course of how films were made. In fact, it wasn't any sort of film, but action film to be precise. It also introduced a new character to the film landscape. The character was New York City Police Department officer John McClane and the film he was part of was Die Hard. The film became a huge success and launched the career of Willis. It was followed up by three more sequels over the years with the last one coming out in 1997. It is now 2013 and a several years have passed. 20th Century Fox has gone back to the well and came out with a fifth installment titled A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD or DIE HARD 5. This installment has a new director in John Moore with Bruce Willis reprising his role as John McClane.

The composer, Marco Beltrami has once again returned from Die Hard 4 to work with John Moore. John has always had a skill for bringing out the finest in his composers. Don Davis wrote one of the best scores of his career for John's first major film, Behind Enemy Lines, in 2001, and John seems to have settled on Marco Beltrami as his present composer of choice, following their successful collaboration on The Omen in 2006, and Die Hard 5 may well be the best of the bunch.

Die Hard 5 soundtrack (OST) album will be available to purchase on February 19, 2013.
