Breaking Bad (BB) has to be one of my favorite TV shows. I didn't really get into the series until the 2nd season, but I was captivated from the beginning of the show. Unlike many TV series that begin strong but by the second season the writers have run out of original ideas, however BB series just keeps on delivering.
The fifth and final season of the BB series begins with a Walt's (Bryan Cranston) fifty second birthday. He is in a bad condition, using a fake name and purchasing a vehicle loaded with armaments. Things can only go from bad to worse as we see to the consequences of Gus's (Giancarlo Esposito) death at the end of season four. His wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) is stunned by her husband’s brutal conquest over Gus while Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and Walt make peace. DEA brother-in-law Schrader (Dean Norris) visit the scene of the past seasons burnt out, ultra-modern drug lab searching for clues. Walt remembers the security cameras from the lab and he and Pinkman seek assistance to clear out the digital evidence.
Sony Pictures Television will release Breaking Bad: Season 5 (first half contains eight episodes) on Blu-ray and DVD on June 4, 2013. Both discs will contain the following extras and bonus features:
