Chloe Moretz may star in film adaptation of Dark Places

Most child actors begin their acting carriers in children's movies. Chloe Moretz has done the exact opposite; however she has several children's movies on her resume already, and has made her name among the film-goers by starring in bloody action and horror flicks such as Kick-Ass, Let Me In and Texas Killing Fields. She has the intellect and acting talent of a woman twice her age. She plunges herself in her characters, and literally becomes them.

Moretz may star as Diondra in the upcoming film adaptation of Gillian Flynn bestselling mystery novel Dark Places published in 2009. Charlize Theron will play the lead role of Libby Day, and will also co-produce the adaptation.

Dark Places tells the story of Libby Day, a 30 plus woman who, at the age of 7, had survived the awful crime that took the lives of her mother and 2 older sisters. Day's statement in the aftermath of the killings helped to put her older brother, Ben, jailed for life for the crime, and she spends the next two-and-a-half decades trying not to think about that unpleasant incident, however, she is contacted by a club that wants to prove her brother’s innocence.
