With the premiere date of Under the Dome Season one, contains a total of 13 episodes, now under a few months away, CBS has released the first video footage from the show. It is based on the book of the same name by Stephen King, developed by Brian K. Vaughan and stars Mike Vogel as Dale, Rachelle Lefevre as Julia, Colin Ford as Joe, Natalie Martinez as Deputy Linda and Dean Norris as James.
Under The Dome is thrilling story set in a small town that is unexpectedly encased in an indestructible dome. The people inside the dome have troubles, mostly in the form of town selectman James, who sees being caught inside the dome as his big opportunity to make a name for himself. James is running an illegal drug business. He believes being inside the dome is his opportunity to mold his world to his dream. Plan # 1 is to get rid of Dale, who was lately in a fight with James’s son. Soon the town finds itself in the middle of a battle of wills, with the helpers of Dale one side and those who help James on the other. As the police force becomes packed with friends of James’ son and more power comes into James’ hands, things aren't looking good for Dale.
