The first teaser clip for the upcoming adaptation of author Irvine Welsh’s Filth has arrived online.
The film is directed by Jon S. Baird from a screenplay he co-wrote with author Welsh. It stars James McAvoy as Bruce Robertson, a ruthless Detective sergeant on the Edinburgh police force. He spoils the lives of the others for the sake of a promotion, cheats his way into various women's beds and depends on a minor for a sexual favor in swap for dropping a drug charge.
The film also stars Jamie Bell as Ray Lennox, Alan Cumming as Bob Toal, Imogen Poots as Amanda Drummond and Toby Jones as Bladesey.
