I've been a big fan of Killzone game series since the first one came out on the PlayStation 2 back in 2004. With each entry the creators has taken slow but rock-hard steps in making a better FPS game that refuses to pull its punches. Each entry improves upon the existing and KZ4 doesn't let down. It is one of my most played FPS games of all time. No doubt that the plot and characters weren't outstanding but the remarkable controls, pitch perfect pacing and stunning graphics gave you a level of immersion you just don't see in many other FPS games.
Killzone Mercenary is set to be the next installment, fifth and second handheld title, in the Killzone game franchise currently in development for the PS Vita by Guerrilla Cambridge. In the newly released gameplay footage, which you can see below, gives us a glimpse of the character Arran Danner, an ex- UCA-soldier, in action. In the game, players will be fighting together with Helghast forces as well as ISA experts, executing missions that normal armed forces can't.
Killzone Mercenary is expected to be released in September 2013.
