Adrien Brody and Hayden Christensen take starring roles in the thriller "American Heist". Christensen will also produce the remake of 1959 film "The Great St. Louis Bank Robbery" starring Steve McQueen. The female lead goes to "Fast & Furious 6" star Jordana Brewster.
The Canadian actor Hayden Christensen is well known for his roles in films such Jumper and Star Wars films. He has founded his own film production company called Glacier and the American Heist will be its first film.
Sarik Andreasyan will helm the project. The story follows two brothers who join a criminal gang. Then their plans blow up during a large-scale bank robbery and things get out of control.
The filming is expected to start this summer, and the makers are eying 2014 release date.
