Chris Wedge’s animated film Epic on home video in August

From the makers of "Ice Age", Chris Wedge’s latest animation film “Epic" is coming to home video on August 20, 2013. In addition to DVD and Blu-ray editions, 20th Century Fox will also bring the 3D version of the film.

Hidden from the eyes of men in the deep forest, a great battle between the forces of good and evil exists since ancient times. An elite team of young samurai fighters tried to confront a group of villains who want to destroy every greenery thing in the forest to protect her. The focus is on a troop of different and funny characters who embark on a grand adventure to save the world.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will bring the animated family film on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D. The DVD contains three featurettes and the Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D editions offer two additional featurettes and the deluxe edition will include collectable Epic Cards. Both HD media have a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound track.
