Crossing the country to perform in Sao Paulo and also in Rock In Rio, Alicia Keys said she’s in love with Brazil.
The pop star posted a letter on her official website telling her feeling about the places she visited in Rio de Janeiro. The foods that she experienced and especially the warmth she have received from the people.

Dear Brazil,
I'm in love with you. No wonder you cast a spell on everyone who comes here and inspires many compositions and stories about you. I landed a few days before my shows, because it was my husband's birthday and we feel, in fact, a taste of you.
This fantastic place and full of colors! Here is so alive! Dogs barking, laughter coming out of every window, extremely catchy music, beautiful pictures painted on all the walls of the streets, even the sound of fireworks, everything makes this place exciting to be filled with the breath of collective life.
So far I saw the Christ light up with the sun, did Brigadier my newest friend, experienced the most delicious foods made with coconut sauces, samba heard coming from the mouths of men and women that give you chills, met the roost the streets of Center City, discovered the Brazilian sounds of the 70s, I met some of the most phenomenal street artists in the world today (thanks to my husband who was also deeply affected by its vibrant culture) and hugged some of the most passionate and kind that I have ever met.
I feel at home here! Heat is my companion, the music my inspiration and I thank you all for having me this phenomenal place and put my mind in a new place. I believe this is just the beginning for us, beautiful Brazil.
The beginning of a very significant memory. I look forward to being friends for a long time.
