Taylor Swift, One Direction, Calvin Harris to enter Guinness Book

Taylor Swift, One Direction and DJ Calvin Harris are some of the stars of the pop world enter the Guinness Book of World Records. The 2013 edition of the Guinness Book will be released overseas next week.

Taylor Swift is in the book for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" the song with the fastest selling download of all time.

The song was in August last year for topping the iTunes less than an hour after its release.

The singer was also the first female artist to have two albums that sold more than one million copies in just its first week of release ("Speak Now" 2010 and "Red", 2012), since 1991, when the current verification system sales has been implemented.

One Direction’s "Live While We're Young" also secured a place in the Guinness Book.

The song was the best British single on the American charts at all times and became the highest download song.

But perhaps the most impressive record belongs to Calvin Harris who managed to beat the Michael Jackson’s record.

The DJ now has the largest number of singles from one album to appear in the UK Top 10. There were nine songs from "18 Months" against the seven that MJ got two occasions. First with "bad" (1987) and then "Dangerous" (1991).
