In Technicolor Part 1: Jesse McCartney to release new EP in December

Jesse McCartney is promoting his new EP "In Technicolor Part 1", which contains four songs in the ‘70s style.

The singer has released one of the songs that will be on the album, "Back Together" last month, and revealed that only now he has time to focus on the new project. "I've been busy, but I'm finally ready to release new music," said the singer of 26 years.

The EP is a preparation for the fifth studio album of the star which, he said, is expected to launch in "April or May 2014."

Three years ago, McCartney resigned from the Hollywood Records, which led him to fame with "Beautiful Soul", and is now under the care of Eight0Eight Records. "They have been amazing and liberating," he said about the new record.

The singer will be performing in the pre-show at the American Music Awards on Nov. 24, and his new EP "In Technicolor Part 1" hits the stores on December 10.
